If this virus get that worse, tourist spots will be the least of our problem Mostly the Northern Region I think. Rome, Venice, Verona, Milan etc I hear the Coliseum is already close

Rome, Venice, Verona, Milan etc I hear the Coliseum is already close At the moment everything is closed in Venice afaik, but the Colosseum is open (if I'm not wrong, I can't find any Italian source speaking of any closure...). I believe that the situation will be better before May, but just in case it doesn't, you might recosinder your trip, including more cities in the Centre of Italy. Anyway, don't panic (yet)! I truly hope you can enjoy your stay here 12 minutes ago, TimisaMonster said: Well for public safety and to prevent spreading among students and teachers who then go back home to family and friends...it's a no brainer sounds like that to me too... I understand the reason behind it, but it seems a plan that doesn't hold water. 31 minutes ago, Sassy McSass said: I’m so scared because both of my parents are elderly and have some kind of heart disease, so I’m just praying that it wont get to my city. I can’t imagine the fear people must be experiencing in places like Italy. Stay stong. Oh gosh, it sounds scary, but I feel you: a parent of mine had already three cancers and he's health is kinda strong-weak at the same time... And he's 'only' in his sixties... Let's hope for the best! Hugs to you and your beloved ones
