Can I just say this whole process is stupid? This could literally be so easy.

Send the candidates to the debate stage a few times, let the people vote, whoever gets more votes wins.

Why tf do I have to do equations and sh*t to find out who gets more delegates or what states matter more or blah blah blah.

It's over complicated, takes too goddamn long, and even if we choose Bernie, if he doesn't make the delegate count, the DNC will give us Biden anyway.

I don't EVER want to hear another establishment Democrat moan about the electoral college :madge:

Because then the billionaires would have a lot harder time manipulating the results into there favor. The more complicated and broken the system the easier it is to rig the election. That goes for both sides not just democrats.

Clearly.

The difference is though the GOP is unashamed to rig their elections. They openly do it and their voters love it when they do.

The Dems are supposed to be better than that. They call for fairness and inclusivity but then pull this "brokered convention" nonsense or whatever it is saying they'll pick the candidate regardless of who the voters want :smh:

The GOP is evil, the establishment Democrats are liars and hypocrites.

Yeah... A candidate can be as easy as 1 popular vote election but no politics has to complicate it :emma:

REALITY

No they didn’t! They did everything they could think of to derail Trump from getting the nomination. Even after he got the nomination, it was hard to find Establishment Republicans to go on shows and show support. Trump’s cabinet was mostly made of a bunch of misfits and a few Generals who felt it was their duty to keep the country safe.

It wasn’t until Trump started showing a consistent, unbreakable ninety per cent approval of the Republican base, that you saw the Republican Congress and Senate as a whole line up behind him on a consistent basis.

The working class is voting for Biden.

You can’t rewrite history and you can’t deny the facts of the voting statistics.

Is that not what I'm talking about?

Of course the Republican establishment tried to stop Trump! They didn't like him at all. But once they were at a point where Trump was becoming unshakeable, they backed him up. They could've been Bernie after Iowa, NH, and Nevada, but it wasn't. Joe wins 1 primary (his first primary win in over 30 years), and all of a sudden it's, "HE'S GOT THE MOMENTUM!", "HE'S BACK!", "HE CAN DEFEAT TRUMP!", etc.

What I stated is true. Establishment Republicans learned that they could get behind Trump. Establishment Democrats could've done the same when Bernie was very much ahead, but they didn't.

More people than are voting for Bernie. He’s got the majority of the AA vote and the female vote. He’s even doing better than Bernie with non college-educated white voters.

Biden is doing far better with Independents than Hillary did. He’s trailing Bernie, but only by around ten per cent. Biden is doing well with Hispanics, 45 and older and isn’t that far behind Bernie in the 30 to 45 range of Hispanics.

What type of people do you know, because Biden voters are all over the map?

Nope. They did not back Trump after he won a couple of states and had a small amount of delegates. In fact, they came out against him in a very vocal and obvious manner.

No one, NO ONE, predicted what happened on Super Tuesday after S.C. The Biden team was hoping to get through ST and still be somewhat competitive. They never thought, nor did anyone else, that he would end up winning Super Tuesday.

You are trying to rewrite history, and it doesn’t make sense. Your timetable is way off with Trump. Bernie was never “very much ahead”. He didn’t even have the base he had last time. Bernie was unable to build on his base, and even lost some of his non college-educated, working class and Independents. Biden is winning those first two groups and is doing far better in the Independent category than Hillary did.

Bernie was supposed to bring more people out for his “movement”. Instead, Biden had the movement and ended up bringing the voters out.

I would say how he went about talking to those kids is maybe strange at best but also taken a bit out of context. He was doing an anti drugs segment and pro education segment. I think there’s a big difference though between this and Biden deeply inhaling the scents of small children.

Why is it ok to misconstrue one interaction with children and not another? Oh right because one is your candidate.

They are both ridiculous nonsense that don't weigh in on an effective leader.

One was trying to teach kids drugs are bad and education is good and another is borderline sexually assaulting children. It’s not about it being my candidate or your candidate it’s about the likely front runner being creepy.
