Harris Walz 2024

Biden in many ways is outperforming Hillary this cycle. That's a good sign. Turnout was up in alot of places. Democrats should be happy that there is some clarity in the race. Sit this race out at your own peril.

The difference is that the Democratic establishment is more willing to line up behind one of their own. It’s actually very interesting to watch.

Cause with Republicans, as soon as Trump started to emerge (as the insurgent, anti-establishment candidate), they fell behind him. With Bernie also being that anti-establishment candidate, the Dem establishment didn’t do the same.

It’s because Bernie provides an existential threat to the government as a whole. With Trump, yeah, he said he was going to “drain the swamp” and all that, but what happened? Nothing. If anything, he’s BECOME the swamp. Establishment Dems would rather elect Biden and possibly lose to Trump because in either scenario, at least they aren’t going to be taken down. With Bernie, his goal is to try and dismantle the government in order to help the working class, and they certainly don’t want that.

No they didn’t! They did everything they could think of to derail Trump from getting the nomination. Even after he got the nomination, it was hard to find Establishment Republicans to go on shows and show support. Trump’s cabinet was mostly made of a bunch of misfits and a few Generals who felt it was their duty to keep the country safe.

It wasn’t until Trump started showing a consistent, unbreakable ninety per cent approval of the Republican base, that you saw the Republican Congress and Senate as a whole line up behind him on a consistent basis.

The working class is voting for Biden.

You can’t rewrite history and you can’t deny the facts of the voting statistics.

Aren’t you a Trump supporter? You’ve supported him in the past.

He is a troll.  One day he says this the other day that. A shame they unbanned him. The ignore list is a blessing sometimes

To be honest, America deserves someone as Sanders badly.

But the truth is, America would not be ready for a "socialist" president (as Sanders is called in the media). Neither wass the U.S. ready for a gay president nor a female one that speaks her mind.

Biden isn't the change America needs so badly, but it's  the one that can get Trump out of office.

But ur right. As a public figure ur suppostu whatch urself :rip:

At the end of the day as mad as I am about Bernie losing I do want Biden to succeed if he becomes the front runner. But I am legitimately concerned about his public image he comes off as creepy and lost sometimes. I just feel like trump is going to have a field day on him they already posted a 2 min complication reel of every time he’s said some questionable stuff all over there media.  I hope his team has good preparation to dismantle trumps smear campaigns in the future but I am worried.

Honestly what I’m really mad about is this election the democrats have a good chance to control the Presidency, house, and senate and it might be wasted on a moderate with little change.

Bernie would have a chance to pass serious good change if he got in.

Yeah, there's this rising feel too that Biden is starting to loose his cognitive abilities from age

That doesn't look good on him either :duck:

Maleficent

A moderate, flawed, democratic candidate going up against a globally hated incumbent who relies on the Republican media and a strong group of supporters to back him up...sounds like John Kerry vs Bush in 2004

Can I just say this whole process is stupid? This could literally be so easy.

Send the candidates to the debate stage a few times, let the people vote, whoever gets more votes wins.

Why tf do I have to do equations and sh*t to find out who gets more delegates or what states matter more or blah blah blah.

It's over complicated, takes too goddamn long, and even if we choose Bernie, if he doesn't make the delegate count, the DNC will give us Biden anyway.

I don't EVER want to hear another establishment Democrat moan about the electoral college :madge:

Whimsical bitch
