Because of Bobby decided to collaborate with YG. No hate, but YG didn’t have a really good image since Seungri-Burning Sun scandal and I’d prefer they collaborate with Big Hit, JYPEnt or new label PNation. Compared to other lables, Big Hit, JYPEnt & PNation have good reputation and they’re not short for talent. Big Hit not only got BTS but also TXT, GFriend (through subsidiary-but-soon-dissolved Source Music) and 8Eight; JYPE got GOT7, Twice, Day6; while PNation got Jessi, HyunA, and Dawn *takes out earphones* what? kabirartfling 9,063
I think the goal is very similar to ARTPOP but more refined(?) I mean ARTPOP was also a hybrid of many things, including harajuku or anime, so it had a very public collaboration with that japanese/Korean holograph popstar(?) This could be that but for Chromatica, it's very own korean/fantasy revenge. Black pink makes perfect sense for Chromatica. Give your love to me

She's Japanese, but there's producers all over the world for her. Even normal people. And she can sing English. Well any language you want if you're tricky enough. And I wouldn't consider having Hatsune Miku as an opening act a collaboration. Plus like I said, anyone can produce a vocaloid.

Sorry if this is kind of off-topic, but it re-piqued my interest. They don't offer much artistic freedom for the girls as they get their note books stolen if they attempt to write thier own songs which is sad. Also they release like 2-4 songs a year when most korean acts release around 4-6 as mini albums throughout the year. Their fans have also been begging for a full album as they have like 16 songs spread across mini albums and EPs. thank u, next

YES, I think once YG was famous by making real talent groups instead of just beauty and idol that cannot sing Hit me a message and say hi !
