Honestly we can never really win so there are probably going to be multiple interludes :selena:

Interludes work in live performances but albums... hmmm... I would love if there are tracks that flow into eachother though like Lady Wood.

I don't know why some people think it's lazy, I think it's a great way to try ideas which might not work as a full song like

and Eminem interludes like on Relapse tell a story

If she wants to incorporate interludes she should put 3. Not too many but not one either.

If she does any I'm hoping for 3 that  sounds like a good number for 16 tracks. Maybe the album will be split into small "acts":stalkga:

Or maybe not cause album interludes are gimmicky af, fillers that are not ashamed to be fillers :madge:

ASIB is full of interludes and I love it. It tells you a story.

Judas is coming, let the cultural baptism begin.

A movie that tells a story. Groundbreaking.

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

ASIB soundtrack did have a bunch of them and as we know, it was Gaga herself who introduced this idea. If we look at Chromatica, it's a story and with the Overture Orch 1 leak, it is pretty much clear we'll have atleast 2 interludes.

She did it bc it was a soundtrack and she wanted for us to remember certain scenes from the movie. They're also not interludes, but clearly designated as "Dialogue".

OT: I hope there won't be interludes, but I want the songs flow into each other :excited2:

When artists are too lazy to give more songs to fans, they use interludes. :madge:

I wonder what they want to tell us with these sounds of music...

Gaga has never used interludes on her albums so this could be the first time and I’m excited for it! She’s doing a lot of things different this time so I think this is what she meant when she said “I want my new album to be a surprise” and so far it’s been that way with the reveal of Tedder and Martin being part of it.

48 min album, 16 tracks. That’s either an average of 3 mins per song or longer ones and one or two interludes or pieces of them in part 1, 2, 3 etc. I am very very excited and curious to see what she comes up with.

Halsey has a few interludes on her last two albums. And they’re all amazing. They’re story, about 2 minutes, but they really connect the whole album and helps the album flow better.

Thanks for stating the obvious.

Now back to music and my point: interludes elevates the storytelling of an album. My ultimate favorite albums have interludes because of that.
