I loved the Joanne era but...

I loved the Joanne era but it didn't feel like a "Gaga's era", I don't if it makes any sense, but it felt so fast and emotionless (at least to me)... I know we had the Super Bowl, which was amazing (the only highlight of that era), but something lacked... (don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the album).

Now I'm feeling like I felt back then in 2013 with ARTPOP, I'm extremely hyped, I feel like she is coming :bradley: like SHE IS REALLY COMING :bradley:

Does it make any sense to you guys?

This is the era we’ve been waiting for since 2011 and literally first time in 10 years I am TRULY out of this world excited for new Gaga album. :bradley:

Joanne felt more Gaga than SL, this is Enigma Gaga thats nothing like ARTPOP

Joanne felt nothing like Gaga whatsoever. It was going against everything Gaga did before. Also can you please stop with constant negativity? That’s not cute at all.

Joanne was the MOST emotional Gaga era to me. Not only did she open up about her family but she opened up about her chronic pain being due to fibromyalgia + depression. Just because she didn't where heels every day doesn't mean she was any less "Gaga"

I see your point, but a "Gaga era" doesn't necessarily have one meaning. I posted this before, but

This is the first era since ARTPOP I am fully on board, she has been SERVING everything so far (SL, mv, visuals, merch), I have no choice but to stan

Honestly, not really. I loved Joanne. And I love ARTPOP.

And I love this too. In fact, I think Stupid Love (which I still like, don't come for me!) is probably her worst lead single. It's like Just Dance in that it's a fun catchy song but I wish it had more depth to it (JD does).

But I'm excited for Chromatica because it feels like there'll be more interesting music on it that'll probably exceed Stupid Love by a lot. :) And that's the other thing I liked about Joanne. The music was actually amazing in not production but songwriting and instrumentation. There was actually more music and harmony going on that one could actually appreciate that sometimes gets lost in electropop.

I think Joanne humanized Gaga for a lot of us which many weren't expecting because we see her as this goddess. But she's just a human and she's  got imperfections. And she showed much more of that in Joanne.

There's always gonna be that one era that you're not feeling connected to your favorite artists.

It happens to me with many other artists, sometimes it's just not clicking and it's fine, all you need to do is to keep on supporting in other different ways and be happy for the fans that like the era and don't ruin it for them.

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

This is what I meant :bradley:

It's not about being more or less Gaga (as I said I loved the Joanne era, she really opened herself to the world, which is something extremely brave), it's about the "feeling", the "hype", the "emotion" :bradley:
