I don't understand why people attacked her record so hard when several of the other candidates had problematic policies/beliefs/records as well. I do think she got attacked more than others unfairly. But this was a job she chose to do. The prosecutors have the CHOICE to prosecute someone over petty charges like that and she chose to do it. The criticism is fair and valid. It's a bigger issue than you may think. So many black people are disproportionately targeted and end up in jail, their lives derailed, their job prospects gone, their used for forced labor in for-profit prisons, they're not allowed to vote. It's not a small issue. Check out iTunes data & graphs at CHARTPOP.live

Bernie can't build past his 30% of the base (hopefully Super Tuesday will prove me wrong), and Biden has...so much baggage. As far as bad politics....I get Bernie's point on Cuba, but saying that before an election is just....aahhhh. Sometimes you have to lie to play the game. And don't get me started on Biden. In a world where good progressives like Barbara Lewis, Tammy Baldwin, and even Sherrod Brown (who isn't as progressive as Bernie, but better than most of the current field) exist...we went with two white guys (one moderate) pushing 80. I been wondering about that too tbh. His base is definitely very dedicated and devoted but would the general population go for him? It's one thing to the get most votes among a democratic race and no other very progressive candidate to split votes with (other than maybe Warren to an extent) I think it's quite another story in a general election because the dynamics change from a primary But then again multiple GGD members have pointed out that many polls that have him head to head with Trump one on one gives him the victory I do not know if they are reliable or well sourced polls tho

Anderson Cooper brought a clip up from the 80s out of nowhere in a 60 minutes interview. It’s not his fault people hate him lol But he could have spun it as "Castro did great things in terms of literacy...it's a shame there is no freedom of press in Cuba so people can use the literacy skills he helped them learn." Look, like I said I'm for Bernie since Warren probably has no shot at this point...but god he makes me want to bang my head against the desk sometimes. And yes, obviously Biden is far worse when it comes to gaffes.....

You realize that like a month ago, people were talking about smack about how Bernie had a ceiling at 20% and couldn’t break it. Then it was 25%. Then it was 30%. People need to stop moving the goal post. He was able to pull over 30% nationally in a field of eight candidates. That’s impressive. He’s also not bad at politics. Lol. Like what? He’s won more races than everyone left combined.

Lol. Like what? He’s won more races than everyone left combined. ..30% is solid and impressive. But at least 60% is clearly center left/moderate (Pete/Klob/Biden/Bloom) and I'm not sure Warren's voters (who are about 10%) will all break for him (most will, but not all). He's done very little to show that he can pick voters off that center left/moderate bloc or build coalitions with them. True, but Warren never lost a race...and Klob (ugh) won more than Bernie if I'm not mistaken. Anyway, believe it or not I'm crossing my fingers for Bernie and wishing him victory in Super Tuesday (I already voted early for him, which was...sad...as I wanted to vote for Warren). President Biden 5,898
I REALLY hope he runs with Kamala, but he’s not. His California event is with the client who’s court case went to the SCOTUS and end up with gay marriage being legalized. Not Kamala. Hoping Harris endorses though! And she will be a great running mate if he picks her. But I don’t think now is the time. He also has Pete, Amy, Beto, and countless others (Cory, non candidates like Tammy Baldwin, etc) to consider. I got drunk

However, I think it’s kind of dumb to say she could have just chosen to not prosecute. That’s not how that job usually works. And in the end of the day, what we need to recognize is nobody is always on the right side of history. We all make mistakes in judgement. And the party I appreciate about Kamala, is she seems very human and would be/has been willing to admit her past isn’t perfect. It feels very sincere.
