It's one of my favorite Gaga covers ever . It has zero promo. But honestly it would fit in today's radio, maybe even more than Stupid Love

They're both sugary pop with disco as an undercurrent for why they exist. Duas track is a little more straightforward in its influence. But out of the 3 I think you hear it in say so the least actually. Because Gaga's vocal on stupid love is very disco influenced honestly. A lot of disco women had strong vocals, they really sang. Inferno 2,880
3 hours ago, T3rrorBlade said: Can you please point out the punk influences on SL song? It's a reference to gaga working with chic/tom ford on the I want your love cover. She had said something about "funking the punk" referring to herself as the punk and presumably Nile rogers funking her out with his funky production/style/whatever. A lot of fans latched onto that statement and as usual would presume it was a song or album title or the vibe of what at that time people thought LG5 would be. So you can reel back whatever pretentious little rant you wanted to go off on about Gaga's punkocity or lack thereof in your mind lol

Inferno 2,880
Also, everyone needs to relax. Billboard is always on Gaga's team in the same way that pitchfork/nme are always up Skye or carlys asses. Certain publications just favor certain artists for whatever reasons y'all can argue amongst yourselves. But bottom line is you can't sit there and act like ANY of these publications matter. None of them matter. It's all b.s. so why sit and argue on this honestly. Just don't see the point.

It all has a modern spin. Imo, its a great thing. Pop needed some of that funk and synth wave back compared to the chilled out meh we have had for 3 years now. Judas Society 3,584
I always support Gaga 100%, but if she would put SL out before DSN, I would credit Gaga. But DSN is definitely more disco than SL.
