Actually the most recent stats I've seen show 21% of his supporters choosing Bernie as their second candidate, with both Biden and Warren getting 19%.

Yep! (Just quoting you to acknowledge that someone else said it before I did. I'm sure others have too, but I'm not reading 8 pages lol)

Polls are like weather reports …

we'll just have to see where the rain falls …

:trollga: Playing the “party establishment is out to get me” mentality is soooo 2016 Trump. if that’s how the Sanders campaign is going to be, they won’t ever win.

It's a fact. Pete himself is part of it. He dropped out to negatively impact Sander's campaign lmao. There's literal reporting on it.

I don't see him doin't it to hurt anyone , more like he wants to positively thow his support 'for' another candidate or simply take another step to unify the Dem's …

Bernie bandwagon is a lot of financially strapped 'youuungggg'  voters who really aren't that knowlegable or mature …

He's promising things that just aren't realistic  and I feel bad for those who actually think he can produce what he's campaigning.

If you’re young and “financially strapped” and don’t advocate for things like the Green new deal or single payer or student debt relief, at least *just* rhetorically, knowing fully well the near impossibility of any of these things getting passed, you’re begging to be miserable. No one is confused or delusional about how unlikely  they are to pass, we just have some instinct towards self preservation.

I never said it was rigging? I'm just stating a fact.

All the evidence in the world doesn't matter sis

Pete buttigieg also ran for DNC chair in 2017 and lost. He is quite literally part of the party elite :emma:

Yeah, sometimes I forget we live in a post-truth era. Trump is president after all. Nothing matters, I guess.

Not to beat a dead horse, but there are like, only a handful of progressives, and Bernie Sanders is the most obviously progressive candidate for president since FDR, if not ever since he's a democratic socialist and sees the world differently. They quite literally have not "done that before" because we have almost no representation in Washington.

Progressives aren't ignoring that the system is broken and not suited to actually serving the people. We're saying we have to fix that system and replace it with one that works. "It's always been that way!" has always been the rhetoric around maintaining the status quo, but its never been a sound argument, see: civil rights mvt, gay rights, women getting the right to vote, etc. Moderates said the same thing then as they are now.

You know what is really disgusting?

Socialist cult followers respond negatively like this to the historic dropout of the FIRST LGBT MAN TO WIN A PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY and one of the most successful young  politicians of our generation.

:huntyga:Bernie’s never getting my vote if THIS is how I’ll be treated in the Democratic Party

I know how you feel. Bernie will never get my vote either.
