Not to beat a dead horse, but there are like, only a handful of progressives, and Bernie Sanders is the most obviously progressive candidate for president since FDR, if not ever since he's a democratic socialist and sees the world differently. They quite literally have not "done that before" because we have almost no representation in Washington. Progressives aren't ignoring that the system is broken and not suited to actually serving the people. We're saying we have to fix that system and replace it with one that works.
