Just see MJ Holland having a nervous breakdown over Pete dropping out and come back telling us that sanders supporters are the " cult followers " here lmao...:derpga:

And yes some don't give him a pass over his sexual orientation and think it's a great that a LGBT person can be proven as a solid competitor for the the WH indeed yet they didn't want THIS ONE cause they vote for a project before to vote for an identity. That's something to be proud of.

So you place the interest of a country to not say of the world after your own feelings? Pretty entitled lol.

Anyway the truth is you just won't get Sanders so saying it's about how a supporter talked to you on the net is a lame excuse that no one can seriously believe. Why don't you own the fact you just hate the idea to vote for him? :ladyhaha:

Yes I do hate the idea of voting for him, which I never will.

And yes maybe my vote is entitled. But that's how the system is designed, for people to vote in their own best interests and personal beliefs.

And I was raised upon the values of you work hard to succeed, not everyone gets free sh*t. I was raised on the value that you stand up for your beliefs. And I will never believe in socialism, which is why I will never vote for it

Then you do not have the privilege to come back in the general if Bernie is not the nominee and tell anyone they need to vote blue no matter who and you certainly don't get to say ever again that Trump is an existential threat to minorities, immigrants, working people or anybody else. Because if you're saying that Bernie Sanders is somehow more dangerous than Trump then Trump really doesn't represent the existential threat that people say he is.

And just to add my two cents: the Pete supporters on this site have been, by far, the nastiest people I've ever interacted with when discussing politics online, which is saying a LOT. You included. You're one of the meanest, pettiest people on here and you always pull this kind of nonsense, lashing out at people on a personal level because you don't seem to care about policy at all.

And guess what? We'll still welcome you into our movement with open arms because we know that the poor and working class of this country need help, we know that countless young people will continue to suffer under mountains of student loan debt if Bernie doesn't win, and we're willing to work with individuals that we find off-putting to make the lives of people that we don't know just a little easier.

You are correct, history will show Pete received an inordinate amount of toxic online harassment from Sanders supporters and staffers. He actually continues to, in spite of no longer being in the race.

This site perfectly mirrored that toxicity every opportunity it could, regularly calling him a rat, a weasel, a loser, Mayor Cheat, Pete The Cheat, etc. GGD wasted no time respectfully acknowledging the end of his historic campaign with a thread: Pete Bottoms Out - a thread full of Sander's supporters cackling at cheap gay jokes.

I don't share your views about Biden, but I didn't want the gaslighting by the Sander's supporters in this thread to go unmentioned. The ugliness Sander's loyalists showed to Pete, and other candidates, won't be forgotten regardless of the outcome of this primary.

I’ve actually never called Trump an existential threat, because I find it to be an exaggerations. They’ve said that about ever President, just changes based off what side of the aisle you’re on.

I’ve been critical of Pete, I haven’t gone  out my way to be toxic to his supporters. It’s usually them who start off being toxic (look at your posts in this very thread).

I’ve supported Sanders since 2015, by the way.

Yes you have.

Tell me this @SKANK @MJHolland

Would you choose petty online rivalries over policy for the country? I understand the hurt but when voting, shouldn't you be looking at policy and what the person running themselves have said and what their official campaign has said, rather than what people online behind avatars say?

He has never taken cheap shots at other candidates even when his opponents have. His supporters, sure, not not he himself. Or his campaign. It's unfair to disqualify someone because of what some small, loud supporters say.

Leadership is a lot of things, but a huge part of it is the behavior you bring out in other people. Bernie is responsible for the widespread toxicity his supporter have demonstrated since 2015.

Nope. Time to get over people you perceive to be mean online and be an adult and vote based on policies. Whoever is your choice, good for you.

I will be voting for the Democratic nominee to defeat Trump.

@Morphine Prince @OG Gaga Stan let's talk about toxicity lmfao

you three have rampaged around this forum destroying any last chance  this could be a civil primary

The first thing I see when I came into this thread was Bernie bros celebrating the end of a history run for the presidency. You've proven to the world how ugly your "revolution" is. Hopefully that's the biggest, only, and last accomplishment of your movement.

I don’t recall celebrating for Pete ending his campaign. I actually commended him for making it this far as the first openly gay man to run for president and make this far. And as I stated before, just because Bernie is my first choice doesn’t mean I would not have backed Pete. If it came down to it, I would have been fine supporting him in the end. Soooo, moral of the story is we’re not all monsters the way you make it sound. And as far as those “3,” I think it’s safe to say there have been A LOT of users contributing to the lack of a civil primary that you speak of.

I didn't realize how powerful my impact was on the primary.

And yes, I am happy Pete will not be the nominee. That is my right.

Also @ItsTommyBitch is literally one of the most civil, level-headed people on this forum. The fact you're being labeled as toxic is absolutely hilarious :rip:

The primary always continues. The prediction now is no one will get the 1991 delegates needed to get the nomination so it will be a contested convention .
