I never said it was rigging? I'm just stating a fact.

:ohwell:any irrelevant one. Everyone candidate makes power plans for politics. Bernie did in 2018 to help progressives win primaries (unfortunately faired terribly and most of them won winnable general elections, such as Ben Jealous in Maryland) & now moderates are gonna do the same to stop a Sanders nomination. That’s called politics. It shouldn’t surprise you.

I got drunk

Moderates, just because you miss the Obama administration does not mean we can't all pull through this together.

It's time to let go of what made us feel content in the past since we can never get it back. We all miss when times felt different, but we need to start thinking forward. Everything feels like it's getting worse and that this is a recent change, but it's been building for longer than the Trump administration. It's time we finally face this tumbling snowball before it's too big to stop from wiping out those at the bottom of the hill.

Vote blue no matter who, as will we too.

They / Them

Once again; I was stating a fact you were denying and are now acknowledging. My point is made.

Actually the most recent stats I've seen show 21% of his supporters choosing Bernie as their second candidate, with both Biden and Warren getting 19%.

Wouldnt count on that, check the subreddit dedicated to Pete, Im struggling to find a single person saying theyre going for Bernie. And theyre pretty pissed at him for his tweet about Pete.

Another post just came up calling out all Bernie fans saying that after  the way they treated them and Pete, that they have no intention of uniting for Bernie. (Bernie fans driving votes away yet again)

Disclaimer: Im a Bernie supporter.

There’s some nasty supporters out there for all candidates.

My personal experience has been that moderates who hate Bernie are especially nasty. They’ve lashed out in irrational tantrums even when having a civil discussion. Many ignored evidence and just stooped to talking points and personal attacks.

This is mostly on Twitter and Facebook.

But even on here, it seems it’s difficult to have a civil discussion because people quickly go into attack mode and choose to ignore facts.

Warren voters are not all going to Bernie if she drops out. Idk why y'all keep saying she is splitting the vote for bernie. Bernie people keep saying she's an ex republican corporate snake but then she's a fellow progressive when you want her voters...okay.

This primary is so ridiculous. I hope Bernie wins if not Warren because I understand the issues but Jesus the way you treat Warren is a crime.

Imagine how WE feel when the entire Democratic Party is literally working to not get our nominee nominated :rip:

And honestly, if you vote based on how a politician's supporters make you feel, that's a very low info voter thing to do.

Voting should be primarily based on policies. Not on your feelings.

If Joe Biden gets the nomination, I am 100% voting for him in November despite me not thinking he is what this country needs because the opposite (Trump) is much worse.

The...entire thesis of Bernie's political career is that the Democrats are corrupt. All that's happening this time is Pete forming a coalition with another democrat that shares his values. Other things that have happened might be more unprecedented...but it's an independent coming in, saying most of the party members are corrupt, and running to be it's president. You get the fights you ask for.

The problem is that unfairly or not, Bernie and his fans get the same treatment as Gaga and her little monsters, since she bases her career on kindness, little monsters doing bad stuff makes her look horrible.

So bad bernie fans look worse than other candidates bad fans, because he is supposed to be the revolutionary one.

Yes, that’s exactly why he’s appealing to many of us. People are tired of the mainstream Democrats and Republicans. Many feel these two parties aren’t doing enough for us.

Not all corrupt, just not doing what is needed.

Anyway, if you want a leftist candidate, someone fighting for big changes in healthcare, climate policy, justice reform, gun control, minority rights, education costs, etc. and want to join the Bernie Sanders movement, we welcome all with open arms. We will fight for you even if you hate us. This is all about what is best for the people of this country (in our view).

Ignore the nasty supporters you may encounter and fight for policies you are more inclined to believe in :)

Note: Criticizing candidates isn’t something we need to discourage. And criticizing them doesn’t equal hating their supporters or the candidate themselves personally. It’s totally fine to be in disagreement with policies or how a candidate has behaved in a campaign.

Only time I can justify hating politicians is when they are like Trump. When they go full immoral.
