MessyTop 14,389
I love Gaga. But sometimes being a Gaga fan is a headache! She's always overhyping things an has no deadlines!!!
misanthrope 15
She probably wanted it to sound too much like a Gaga track even though its on Kendrick's album! She should have compromised! That's apart of collaborating! Her ego is just...
JPM 781
yes, my prayers have been heard, hopefully azelia banks wont be on ARTPOP too, those rappers should stay away from gaga.

That's apart of collaborating! Her ego is just... I know, I feel like that's why all of her collabs never happen. She's not willing to allow the other artists actually put their sound in it too, which is what collabing is all about. It worked for Telephone because it was a typical pop song that wouldn't need much compromise. Even then, Gaga didn't perform Telephone ONCE with Beyonce
rph99 38
I dont want him on ARTPOP then. Who the hell sacks a Gaga Colab. So much promotion material lost because of it. His loss, not ours.

This instance of not being able to compromise is a testament to her inability to take risks with her sound.
Stra 6
This means Partynauseous is a hip-hop track. Kendrick Lamar's album is full of ****ty rap music from what I have seen on youtube so far. Glad Gaga didn't let them turn it into another rap song.

No more video directors, firing creative directors, etc.
Miss Murder 11
I hope his stupid ass won't be on her album anymore. I wonder if gaga is hurt or not on the decision. She pretty much wasted her time. Agreed I wish she would just leak a song for Little Monsters before the end of the year... Whether it be an old one or a new one!!! kupo 201
I think we're being awfully presumptuous, lol. We have no idea what this song sounded like at any point in its development, nor what discussions happened between Gaga and her team and Kendrick and his. And, having artistic integrity and not agreeing to things that you don't feel represent your sensibility is never a bad thing. Gaga said she wanted to make it on her own with BTW, we shouldn't necessarily expect a 180 where she's willing to accept just any collaboration. Things should work together organically and feel right for both artists, and if they don't, they shouldn't go through with it.

It's one thing to have artistic integrity and stand by your beliefs, but she seemingly has an inability to compromise and let go of the reigns when necessary. Marry the Night's music video is a consequence of this.
