Let’s call it Summer 2020 :ally:

Do you know that for sure?  I thought there were strong rumors of an April release?

She quit smoking for two days. :laughga:

But I mean, when smokers quit, they don't just stop all of a sudden. They had to slow the process down. Well, that's what I read lol.

For the love of god - she is smoking a joint here!! NOT a cigarette.

Nancy Reagan and D.A.R.E really did a number on you kids and it shows.

Oh my god, calm down. :udidnt: I was joking with the stopped smoking for two days  one.

I didn't know that was a joint tho. I haven't seen one in real life yet.

"These records got passed around to so many different people, there were so many different iterations of these songs because we all wanted it to be perfect and literally nobody cared who put their fingerprints on it, as long as it was the dopest thing that we could give to the world and that it was meaningful, authentic, and completely me."

This part 'scares' me a bit though, because it kinda sounds contradictory.
On the other hand, it shows that they really perfected all the songs, so I hope that's what it means.

YAS @ her quitting smoking. Hope it's for real this time.

As always, Zane is a great interviewer + Gaga sounded so happy, funny and cute :enigma:

I'm totally here for a joyous record! The big challenge will probably have been preventing it to become 'basic', but I'm sure she's delivered, like for other joyous songs of the previous albums.

I hope the quitting smoking part is actually true :bradley:

She sounds so genuine in this interview compared to her Joanne interviews where she'd recycle the same responses to questions.

I can't wait for more radio interviews where she'll give us more details and explaining about the recording process, the concept and ideas behind the song and the record

❣️

Shantay, you stay.

She's asked the same questions over and over. And she answers truthfully. What do you expect?

REALITY

It's also meaningful because it's like... How many albums of pure pain have we gotten from her? 5? She's been on an amazing journey of healing and she's finally feeling good. It's really a powerful statement to make purely happy music.

I couldn’t agree more! She sounds so incredibly happy and it sounds like she’s in a really good headspace. Of course we have to acknowledge and deal with pain, depression, anxiety, etc. They’re human emotions, and especially in the time we’re living in, I think it’s important to deal with and talk about them.

That said, hearing her sound so happy and joyful is very happy to see. Like, let’s make meaningful and powerful songs, but let’s just also make great dance pop hits!
