This statement is pretty inaccurate considering the actual leak did not spread far beyond the fanbase. You're the one the who decided to listen to the leak, therefore it is on you and you alone. Gaga does NOT need to delay, or change her plans due to a few select people growing tired of a leak which contained an unfinished version of a song.

It's not her fault that you guys didn't have the patience nor the proper restraint to prevent yourself from listening to the song.

Probably because she wanted everything to be done, finished, shot etc before the album cycle began so she didn't have to push her body, and since it leaked, she probably didn't care enough to suddenly switch it. 

Aside from fans, the world at large isn't aware of the song. A few gay clubs do not equate to the GP knowing the song.

The whole promotion campaign + the music video was already done for Stupid Love, they wont throw all of that in the garbage just because it leaked. Also judging by that mindset then I guess releasing singles after albums is even more useless because many people already heard them no? The thing that matters the most now is what kind of promotion Stupid Love would have. Oh and just an example for you, Shallow was getting TONS of streams and SALES after Gaga performed the song at the Oscars which was literally a half year after it got released and by that time everyone knew the song already but it still went to #1 thanks to THE EXPOSURE. So no, It doesn't matter if a couple of people heard Stupid Love one time....

I'm happy Gaga and team stuck with their clearly very well planned release roll out. They've been working on this for months if not almost a whole year. So yeah, let's let them have it. Who cares if it leaked to like .001% of pop listeners, even if that's like 5% of her base.

Also, I didn't listen to it and I'm here. There are lots of us Stans who didn't listen.

Besides, it's a bop. It's fun, it's commercial, and with visuals like these, I believe it's going to do really well. I mean, this is EXACTLY what people wanted from Gaga since Joanne. Y'all should be grateful she's delivering that. She could've easily stayed in the Joanne/ASIB lane (which by the way, I love too), but she didn't. She wanted to be more out-there and outlandish, and she knew that fans wanted this.

Tbh, I have overplayed that song for over a month, and just before I started to get slightly neutral or immune to the song, she drops the announcement and I am... ****ING... EXCITED again! The rumours and insiders have kept me on my toes, kept me distracted whilst waiting. The era has arrived and I have no idea how you can sit there and act like you ain't excited. The leak was blaring in two of my local clubs this past weekend, so, you know, yeah... she can release it as the lead single if she wants. I reckon it'll do pretty well and I'm certain the leak isn't the final version, considering how her team responded to the leak so... oddly, severity and without damage control.  I'm convinced that leak was to build hype or test the waters. I don't think the song will flop, and I hope Interscope have learnt their lesson and promote it well, especially on top Spotify playlists. A placement like on Spotify will do wonders for Stupid Love, more so than Million Reasons.
