A lot of their initial, frontloaded promo is very advertisement based (#shotoniphone, playlisting, billboards). I think they're playing something more on the line of longevity- they knew the song likely wouldn't hit top spot, so they probably strategized on focusing on extending its success. That's just my guess. - But I also feel how you feel! Unlike years before, where I was a kid that would focus a lot of my attention on the minutiae of the Gaga (because she was literally doing something every waking second of the day), I focus on other things more. Very similar to you, my primary week day-to-day is: gym, work, home, hangout with friends and/or work on a hobby project at home, and bed. I've decided not to invest as much of my attention on Gaga (still love her as much!), so it still feels like substantial news whenever she does something... well, substantial. In my teens I was blown away so hard and my hype was way more energetic but now I’m genuinely happy for her and enjoying this era in a more “grown” way, if that makes sense.
