They worked together on Joanne, and whether or not they wrote that song during the “original LG5” sessions or during the Joanne sessions, they worked together and the song was released? After Gaga had created the 8 songs with RedOne, she started to work with Mark Ronson in November 2015... and it was in January 2016 that the idea of Joanne was born. Its obvious that the Joanne album just didn't fit the vibe of the RedOne songs and thats why they weren't part of the project. There was one song, "Angel Down" was was co-written by Gaga and RedOne that did fit the vibe of the album. Mark Ronson redid the song with Gaga, produced it and helped co-write it. Fair, but I’m conflating his involvement as adjacent to ARTPOP’s (singular co-writing credit at the end of the album). But I agree that their original sessions likely didn’t fit with the new sound, but I think it might just be that- with minimal drama or “falling out”. I don’t know, I feel like the inclusion of both Angel Down and its work tape (which RedOne is prominent in) is indicative that they don’t hate each other.
