I’m very broken up about it. I get the argument of some fans wanting a “real era.” To be fair she was quiet for most of March. We didn’t really know if any TV performances of SL that were canceled and taping schedules are usually made months in advanced. If the album truly does come in June then OK, that’s only 2 months away. But at the same time, nothing will change to them. It’s not like she’s going to be able to replan all of the promo she wanted to do. We need to realize that. Even if it gets delayed a full year, now she’s competing on the charts with the likelihood of Rihanna, Adele, Katy. The era unfortunately won’t be what it was made to be. But let us also realize that people’s LIVES aren’t what they thought it would be. A lot of more important things have been affected. Deaths. The economy. A pop album won’t change any of that. And if the album could give just some of us solace to dance alone and cry and drink. And live stream with fans. And then later on in the year dance with us all and do more physical promo, I personally just thought that would be the better option. But some people can’t put it like that and wish death on her, I don’t support that either. 

Yeah, i agree with you on everything. Specially when u said that people lives wont be the same after this. Why she cares about her album cycle not being what was planned to be, when there's more important things to be worried about. Her music would've made all of us get distracted with this crisis. We could be dancing, discussing the songs, making dance routines on our bedrooms. Did you knew that James Corden is making a "music at home festival", and artists like dua lipa and billie eilish will be livestreaming their performaces on his show? Why Gaga and her team cant make creative decisions like that? I bet a lot of tv shows would love to livestream Gaga performing or giving an interview from her place. This situation is sad, and unfortunately, contradictory.

I can understand that fans are angry, upset, and disappointed. We all are that way. However, some fans need to be more mature enough to express those feelings in more productive ways.

i'm really not happy about the way she choose to tell us about the postpone, she should had done an live or post an video about it. like dua did an livestream to tell about the earlier album date. she didnt show us respect.

and for the angry fans calling her names and s**t, go get a job and focus more energy on themselves.

I mean, I don't totally disagree with that.

That said, I don't think she "didn't show us respect". She put a lot of thought when writing her post, and you could tell it was extremely emotional for her.

That would certainly be controversial, but she should've explained this on her post, if it was the case. She bothered telling us about a secret coachella performace, but didnt wanted to explain that the concept of her album was earth being cancelled. If she had said that, people would understand better, and she wouldn't be getting all this hate. This whole "lets help each other, be safe world, i love you, be kind" talk is getting repetitive from her, and people are simply not buying anymore, because she's making it sound fake

The only thing I'm really worried about is that maybe April 10 was the perfect time to release the album, because it's only going to get worse. It may be that the whole of 2020 will be in a panic from this whole situation, not the fact that in 2-3 months everything will get better, it can only be worse. But I hope they know what they're doing, or rather Gaga's label.

Well she is a good writer, but that doesn't mean she can't be just as emotionally charged when writing out what she planned to say.
