Yup, you're right. There's also the lines "I'm not nothing unless I know I can", "I'm still something if I don't find a man" which is all about her drive and her fearless ambition and her own value, that she doesn't need a man by her side to be successful. And then the second verse that starts with "this, is, the dancefloor, I fought for". I think we're going to hear more about her journey and how her LGBTQ+ friends helped lift her up too, as she mentioned in the PAPER interview.

Such a beautiful, powerful song. I've already overplayed the snippet to death!

Oh totally to me those lyrics at the beginning of the second verse are my faves she’s ever wrote because it makes me feel like she’s celebrating the last 12 years of her career and accepting she impacted music and fought for her place and powerful position, it also feels LGBT+ inspired in the sense we threw bricks and rioted to protect our safe spaces aka a literal dance floor we fought for

Do you really want me to post the 'Stupid Love isn't the lead' that you created? :trollga:

I NEVER said that as fact, I said that as my OPINION because it didn't make sense for her to release a single that leaked... and obviously I was correct because the charts reflect the loss of income due to the leak :vegas:  those were MY thoughts at that time, and anyone using logic could see the sense in what I was saying.

Since when are my thoughts and opinions suddenly facts? When did I become an insider? :billie:  exactly

AND while we are here. I never said Babylon was not a real song. I made a joke, A JOKE, that it wasn't. I said something like "imagine if Babylon isn't even a real song" because people were thinking the vocal sample she uses sounded like she was saying "Babylon" when it turned out to be a damn vocal sample from another song :billie:  I never said that it wasn't going to be a real song at all...

so to recap for you;

-  I never denied Stupid Love's existence

- I never said it was definitely not going to be a lead single

- my opinions are not FACTS and I'm NOT an insider

- I never said that Babylon wasn't a real song (and was being serious).

Thats all :billie:

Oh thank god. I was worried about a Hey Girl styled song but it's DWUW where Gaga can do an Ari-less live version and we can cut Ari out (mostly) later :fan:

I find it so relatable because it's about challenging your own self-worth and believing you're good enough even when you don't feel that way. I f*cking love this song already, I don't even need to hear the rest of it.

It's already shot up to one of my fav songs already from her!

She did THAT :bradley:

"I was protected by the monks of Azarath, I was raised by my friends. They are my family, this is my home and you are not welcome here."

Guys, stop being messy in this thread please. We give you a lot of space to just have fun while we wait for the album of a lifetime but that's not a free pass to go insane and start attacking each other.

Chill out or the wp's will start flying :huntyga:

Thanks :huntyga:

Everyone's harassing Craig as usual :vegas:

Blade randomly attacked him on ATRL because he apparently didn't believe something he said even though he said he never mentioned Blade

Then Darla tweeted **** about him

No t no shade but I love that while other artists are adding their cute one song to their albums about sexism and how straight men have it easy/are gross Gaga is out here making an actual song about female empowerment and the help she gets from the LGBT community. Aka she’s focusing on lifting people up and thanking people other than making a call out song (I’m not against call out songs but it seems to be the trend and it’s getting kinda reductive making a whole ass album about your perfect love life and then bam heres a song about sexism to make my album fit the agenda). Idk but Gaga always has a positive outlook on life and her sexuality/gender and it’s really refreshing.
