She spoke to scientific experts who said self-isolating is important (this was a few weeks ago when the virus was quite new to Americans). And in her statement on Tuesday she said it’s important “we” find solutions (not “I”) and she focused on financial assistance and medical equipment i.e protective clothing and more testing kits, which is what any lay person would agree with. Now please enlighten me, What does all of this has to do with an album postponement. Is she using Haus Lab to prepare hand sanitiser gel as other brands are doing? Is she using her BTW foundation to donate face mask and ffp2/3 masks to paramedics and people with comorbidity and diseases that lower your immune system? Why the hell do you need to USE this to explain the delay of an album. Just be real and since you cannot state "I cannot go bankrupt" "Interscope does not want that an my contract mandate me to maximise the profit since how much was invested" just keep it low brow and say just the "I cannot execute it properly", " i don't fell like it is the right time" (even if she said the infamous dance through pain/hard times line, but lets put that on a side for a min) We ALL know scientist need to find a solution duh. I wish she was just up front or someone from her label looked at this more realistically. Release it. How long are pop stars going to delay new music if this won’t end for months? The labels have an opportunity to still make money off physical sales and streaming. Late night talk shows are creating outlets for artists to perform. And this will be the norm probably for most of the summer. And I find it super hard to believe it won’t leak if it’s coming out in FALL which is MONTHS away.
