This is exactly why Ariana even feels comfortable sharing as much as she does. Her fans are literally the sweetest. Monster have never been that nice not even when Gaga was at her peak level of fan interactions. We only got worse since then. I wouldn't talk to us either. Can we have this discussion in two weeks maybe? She was everywhere for almost 10 days straight. Ads on YouTube. Billboards in major markets. Commercials during SNL, Idol, etc. Selling her tour tickets at a rapid rate as reported on today. Pop stars often do more promo the week before and after an album comes out to keep sales up. Performing SL/traveling for promo in general right now is both unsafe for her health and probably wouldn’t do much to affect chart positions. We want something new because 90% of us have been playing the song for a month already, if it was a song we never heard as the lead we wouldn’t be having this conversation/her promo would probably be different. It’s pretty clear she’s going to debut at #1 barring someone like Drake or Rihanna releasing a surprise album on the same day. I respect your opinion but it does kinda dwindle all of our excitement who enjoy this waiting process and the exciting times ahead. Its not like she’s home doing nothing. There are so many things being planned behind the scenes. Just because we aren’t aware of them all shouldn’t make us assume there’s going to be no longevity for an album that isn’t even out yet. Furthermore, longevity correlates mostly with what she chooses to do AFTER the album comes out. Hopefully the BBMA is an option, the other videos and singles she chooses to release in the coming months/year. The tour. Her adding Chromatica songs to her Vegas residency that often many members of the GP attend and will subsequently have them check out the album, etc. Those are things that add to longevity. Her not doing physical promo for SL has no bearing on the future success of Chromatica as a body of work. We haven’t seen anything yet. These comments are getting repetitive. Gaga tweeting ANYTHING and her fans responding with stuff like "stfu" and "no one cares". And yes, most of the time it's a joke, but it's super annoying.
