He successfully established functional education system and healthcare system. Most of the time he just defended his own country against USA that has been terrorizing the whole Latin America for several decades. Cuba also never started any wars nor committed mass genocides unlike America. Hypocritical corporate democrats and republicans are completely fine with supporting psychotic dictators and genocidal maniacs when they are US allies.
