Portugal may soon join Germany in negative rates as its debt interest on 10 year bonds have dropped to 0.17% virtually nothing

Given Portugal's debt to GDP ratio is falling quickly, the economy is growing above EU average and the Country is expecting a budget Surplus, investors now see Portugal as a safe investment

Corona virus has also influenced world interest rates down. For example Canada's yields dropped to 1.3% and USA to 1.32% as investors seek safe heavens amid concerns of a recession

Didn't think of that. It was all thanks to Mrs. Madge :bradley:

What are the odds of all the hardest hit Countries by the Eurozone crisis the one that bounces back from the crisis the fastest is the same one that Madonna moved to. Coincidence? I think not! :awesome:

We also kickstarted the genre, there is that. What do you call someone that creates a movement and it's probably the biggest flop in that same movement?

Sestri Levante

Meanwhile we have the highest tax rates of all time along side the worst public services of all time, and the beginning of a demographic crisis with young skilled workers leaving the country. Not to mention corruption (sinking further in the Transparency International).  Also, alt-right is rising quick while moderate parties sink or stagnate. The next four years of this government are going to be interesting :ohwell:
