I hope we all take this story and it inspires us to do a little more good and to not judge people who we see on the streets who clearly have a mental illness. I know this story has changed how I react when I see a homeless person who acts irrational. I now know most likely they have a mental illness and they can't find resources to get the help or they dont trust people. Homeless people suffer so much trauma it breaks my heart now imagining how many people in this world are going through similar situations while the world around them continues and does not bat an eye.
