Harris Walz 2024 1,451
Former Vice President Joe Biden holds a wide lead in the South Carolina Democratic presidential primary, according to a new survey from the left-leaning firm Public Policy Polling. The poll shows Biden with 36 percent support in South Carolina, which holds its primary contest on Saturday. He’s trailed by Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) at 21 percent. https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/484402-poll-biden-holds-15-point-lead-in-south-carolina Biden gets a decent bounce from his second place showing last week. FATCAT 60,886
"Most recent polls have shown a tightening race between Biden and Sanders in South Carolina. A CBS News/YouGov survey released on Sunday showed the former vice president’s lead narrowing to just 5 points. And a Winthrop University poll released last week also showed a 5-point race between Biden and Sanders." This could just be an outlier. I really think Bernie is going to do better than expected. weed 78,877
It’s wild how since Bloomberg has become more powerful I don’t think Joe is that bad anymore hope Bernie wins them all tho
Economy 52,839
Of course someone would have to LMAO this It's just a dam poll no one is even glorifying Biden in the OP or comment so far. Brainiac 11,171
It's definitely an outlier. All other SC polls show a much closer race. Within a 5 point margin.

I would easily vote for Joe Biden over Bloomberg in retrospect. The way things change Other polls since Nevada have Bernie and Joe tied or within the margin of error for a clear 1st (everyone else is single digits ish, some show Steyer around 10-15%), so i do think this is an outlier, but I wouldn't be surprised if he wins. I'm just hoping that if he wins, its barely, because that would be devastating to his "I'm gonna sweep south carolina!" electoral bid he has put his ENTIRE campaign on... If he loses, tbh Bernie is the nominee, like winning all 4 states? It's over. 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから

derpmonster 22,412
Their latest analysis (from Wikipedia) shows: "In the 2016 Presidential Election, PPP's final polls widely missed the mark in several key swing states, including New Hampshire,[24] North Carolina,[25] Pennsylvania,[26] and Wisconsin.[27] Their polls also significantly underestimated President Trump's lead in Ohio,[28] and incorrectly predicted Hillary Clinton to win Florida.[29]" FiveThirtyEight gives PPP a B+ which is okay, not bad. But considering how different this is from other polls, it's likely a fluke. Marist, on the other hand, shows Biden with only a 4 point lead and has an A+ rating. Regardless, SC may give Biden momentum but Bernie will likely remain on top in number of delegates after it. I guess it's possible I just know on this site half the comments that don't fully glorify left thinking get a lot of LMAOs even if it's only a marginally centrist comment For example I've had discussions about Bernie where I didn't put him down or say anything toxic (I'm not like that)... I even agreed with a lot of the stuff Then I merely disagreed with how far he wanted to go on certain stuff by some degree of margin Next thing u know: "LMAO" or some comment calling u ignorant or a Corporist If it doesn't fully pass the purity test many laugh it off or call u ignorant... Low-key it's frankly somewhat deminished my level of respect for the left (generalizing cuz I know not every person will be like that) cuz I just find them annoying Cuz while I've mostly considered myself Centre or Centre-Left and don't identify myself as left... I did respect the fact that there's other opinions and didn't have an issue with the Left per say But this rising agression, purity tests and whatnot has just turned into a toxic turn off for me tbh. I'm just being honest here
Harris Walz 2024 1,451
If Biden does manage to pull off a 10 to 15% win, then it's a big deal. A close race is barely ok. A loss is the end. So yeah, SC is adding up to be a huge primary for all the candidates.

Morphine Prince 109,647
I see Biden winning with 5-10% Sanders coming in a close second is a possibility. If Biden wants to run on this electability message he’s been going on about he HAS to perform well in South Carolina or else it’s over for him. It's possible even likely Biden has been overestimated on polls I assume it's probably lower voter turnout among supporters Many of his supporters are not overly dedicated and may show up in polls but then don't actually end up going out of their way to vote

Tom Steyer might perform well in SC too. But Nevada was pretty bad for him.
