The song is great lyrically but I'm not a fan of the instrumental. @klaus Should've been a single! After Mean, instead of The Story of Us. The lyrics are incredibly picturesque, the chorus is catchy as hell, yet it's weird how it's the title track. And it's just a great track before the next song hits me in the chest like a cannonball. Relatable and catchy. @klaus Oh, my Lord. One of the most underrated singles of all time and of Taylor Swift. It's intense with its hard-hitting lyrics. It also reminds me of Sk8er Boi by Avril Lavigne which is confounding but... I love the sound. Kinda wish she did it acoustic, but I also get the punk-rock vibe of it because it's supposed to be sad but the danceable fist-pumping beat veils the melancholia of it. Just imagine the lyrics told in a Dear John instrumentals/singing kind of way... 4. Haunted 103 (Tied with Story Of Us HIGHEST RATE: @Davian 11 LOWEST RATE: @MANiCURE 6 4 COMMENTS: Spoiler @Blown Away The song is beautifully haunting and the vocals are just terrific. I love the way her voice shivers at the end of the each verse and the emotion behind it. Magnificent song. @Davian One of her best songs of all time! A Masterpiece @klaus I've overlooked this track the first time I've listened to Speak Now. It's gotten better and better. The chorus is epic and is one of her most unique songs because of it, and the high notes at the end part... just top me already. The album liner note of this song is STILL TO THIS DAY and that kinda breaks my heart.. it's a very sad song strung in chaotic instrumentals and I love the conveyed emotions.
