Isnt it because television is a thing of the past and people are preceiving the Oscars to be long and boring. The Oscars were always long but they were never boring. There was real suspense in the room, that anything could happen, but also a sense of cameraderie and kinship between the artists and executive people. It was when Hollywood could let their hair down and just relax and be themselves. Today everyone is just so afraid of offending anyone, it’s all just people flattering each other for future business opportunities. Way too much emphasis on the red carpet and the fashion designers than on the ceremony itself. All so staged. Sorry but the internet technology is not a good enough excuse for these awkward ceremonies with no charm and no memorable moments (for example the Super Bowl still gets record ratings). These shows were probably always rigged but now they also feel so predictable. Bottom line is the organisers don’t make an effort into making a good show for the actors/artists anymore but rather the media and advertisers. What does this have to with Trump/Parasite? I just think he worded what I said in his own typical way. He probably hasn’t even seen the film so was not criticising it at all but rather the hypocrisy of the failing Hollywood system. No one has questioned your opinion in this thread either tho, they just disagreed with you All I was saying that it seemed contradictory of you to say that you were gonna ignore other people's quotes because they "cant handle other opinions" while you were blocking away people from quoting you, making it look like you werent ready for their opinions Buy ARTPOP on itunes or smth?
