I love RedOne and his work - he also seems like a lovely man - but I have always had this feeling that he feels accountable for a lot of Gaga's success. And whilst that might be true (in terms of the big hits), I can see why Gaga would want to move away from working with him now. 

And I think this whole Frankensteined scenario is exemplary of how RedOne thinks he knows what's 'best' for Gaga because he's the one behind her biggest hits. 

I don't know, there's something off about it imo. 

 

Yeah maybe thats why gaga distanced herself from him.. its so messy, he knows how messy monsters can get and he keeps bringing that song after the whole 2017 mess

I love his productions with gaga but he better shush about these things, it only pisses us and probably gaga more.

Those are the 6 I know of, not sure of the last 2. Metamorphosis was one too maybe, but I can't 100% confirm that one. If anyone else here knows of the names of the other 2 so we could have the complete list, the album title could very well be one of these 8 RedOne tracks. 

Those gothic themes, it sounds like I would've LOVED that album, and you gave us country instead, GAGA I HATE YOU . Although... as an artist myself, I... kind of understand why she scrapped the whole thing and went for "Joanne" instead, as much as I never connected with that album. 

"Frankensteined", "Vampire", "Moon Eyes", it all feels very goth/horror-pop, and kind of reads like "The Fame Monster 2.0". It is EXACTLY what everyone was expecting from her, and she as an artist might have felt bored with that idea. 

Even if the songs were great... I can guarantee you, if she felt like that was more of the same, yes, I can totally see her scrapping the whole thing, and doing the absolute opposite, going the opposite direction. When you are an artist, repeating yourself, more precisely: BORING yourself with your own material... that's like death, that's like dying. 

You have to keep yourself entertained in order to enjoy the ride. Which often means: stepping out of your comfort zone, and doing what you don't necessarily do best. 

Maybe "Frankensteined" is what she does best, BUT it just bored her, she wanted a challenge instead, something different for her. I can understand that TBH, in her position, I might have felt the same under similar circumstances. 

So yeah, I hate "Joanne", but I can understand her need to release such an album. You can't do ONLY what you do best as an artist. 

Sometimes you need to do other stuff to keep the flame alive.

Well, her name is inspired by the song Radio GaGa, so yes, of course she uses GaGa rather than Gaga.

And also, she may also see her name as musical notes G a G a (note to her tattoo, which is on the same arm as Tony Bennet's trumpet).

Exactly why RedOne needs to go work with someone else and let Gaga do Gaga.

We don't need a TFM 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, etc and he hasn't done anything new or interesting since he worked on BTW  imo, at least.

For me, every album is better than the last. Born This Way was more important and louder, ARTPOP was more thrilling and moving, Joanne was more personal and touching, and I have high hopes for LG6.

The only thing that would leave me disappointed is if it was full of Poker Faces and Just Dances and I feel that's all we'd get with a RedOne collab.
