It's an opinion and I'm allowed to have it

Of course anyone that isn't in the Bernie's type of ideology would say that duh

Just as I could say "what a leftist thing to say" to a lot of stuff and I'm sure u wouldn't like it

Ppl will obviously say stuff in tandom with their opinions. I don't get ur point

You also say "far-liberist" as if it's so deep in the spectrum and outrageous... Not even Scandinavian Countries tax some of the rates Bernie is proposing. So stop making it sound like I have such extreme "far" opinions :rip:

I was just messing with you because opposing far-left and far-right is quite the liberal argument cliché. I know we can't discuss politics.

U sounded serious :deadbanana:

Yeah I hate that ppl can't discuss politics in a civilized mannor it's almost pointless

The moment ppl get agressive I don't bother continuing cuz they got their opinion set, they are not gonna even hear out new arguments so what's the point?

I follow media and channels from all across the spectrum from Right Wingers like Peter Schiff or business news network, as well as BNN bloomberg (Canada version)

Left Wing Channels like The Young Turks or the Damage Report

And Centrist platforms like CNN

I think it's important to continuously take in all perspectives before deciding to take ur stances to make your own unbiased opinion and you have to do it continuously because stuff is constantly evolving... but most ppl don't bother to have that kind of open mindedness. I think both politicians and people alike are stubborn in the set ideas and will rarely admit they should re-consider looking at anything differently

There's valid arguments I think all across the board. The economy is not a black and white thing at all and has many influencing factors and frankly in my opinion many on the far left and far right over simplify it and ignore a lot of important aspects

Like the big minimum wage hike in my Province as a perfect example. The impact literally was exactly in between what the leftists said would happen and what right wingers said would happen because both supporters and those against only considered the factors supporting their view and ignored the offsetting factors from the other side

That's my view on it

At least every US presidential election provides monsters we can (almost) all agree on to bash tirelessly. It's cathartic !

U should have seen the elections in my Province (Ontario) 1-2 years ago. Not a single party was good in my opinion all trash. And we have 3 relevant parties not just 2 like the US :deadbanana:

Also Federally it was Halerious cuz Trudeau's Centre Wing Platform was so little marginally left of the Centre-Right Conservatives platform that their arguments were just :air:

It was literally the same stuff only trivial marginal differences on the exact amounts of benefits and the technicalities of how they would work but it was rediculous to hear them call eachother destructive when literally 90% of their plans were the exact same :triggered:

Imagine Biden arguing on policy with a very Moderate/Centrist Republican...

That was literally Canada's last elections. I'm like what's the point of there being Liberals and Conservatives then :rip:

To be fair tho Trudeau was being more Centre-Right than the Liberals usually are and the Conservatives last election went a little more left than usual... Typically there's a bit more gap between them
