They are literally making ads for conservatives with such speeches (we love to see it). This kind of rhetoric is dangerous. However, it's comforting to know that Sanders is pretty on par with Corbyn when it comes to electability.  

I can see Sanders bombing in Florida after Trump inevitably attacks him with this video where he praises Castro while criticizing Reagan.  Cubans who fought Castro's repressive regime are not going to vote for his sympathizer.

Honestly that's a very real possibility. But as long as Bernie picks up the Great Lakes states, he won't need Florida.

I still think his path to victory is pretty solid

Look at their 2020 consensus map.

It looks like Pennsylvania and Wisconsin are where the deciding battles will be and they're part of the blue wall. Of course, Hillary lost them  but Bernie's popular. If he can pick them up, he wins, even if Trump gets Arizona, North Carolina, and Florida.

If Trump loses in any of those five states, his chances plummet.

Yes, it doesn't sound surprising to me that he criticized the man who brought down the Soviet Union while praising a communist dictator. Didn't you know that Sanders spent his honeymoon there (out of all places). How lovely, isn't it?
