all you have said is that trump would destroy america but there's no substance that actually proves that would happen. The fact that you're saying you explained anything is just not accurate. You're saying anybody but Trump. Bloomberg is worse than Trump.

I would gladly vote for Trump over Bloomberg. (I would in practice vote Green or Write-In instead but if given only the 2 options, Trump is very clearly the better option).

Agreed

Trump is a phychopathic liar, unpredictable, unprofessional and obnoxious

But politically when it comes strictly on policy, there's actually politicians out there that are even worse than Trump

I feel like it’s more that you have such low standards when it comes to politicians that you always see the “good” in them, even when the bad outweighs the good :green:

No. I just look for the good and the bad, not only the good in one and the bad in the others. If I want fairytales I dont look after them in politics.

I don't like him but he's not exactly wrong on this. A lot of people seem to support forcing people to survive which can be seen as unethical.

The comment said "when the bad outweighs the good" :rip: Not "when the good isnt there"

Bloomberg is pro gun control? That's nice in theory except he tried to defeat Elizabeth Warren's senate race in 2012 and put in a Republican with a strong NRA rating and endorsed him over her (because he's a Republican who funds Republicans to beat Democrats regularly :deadbanana: )

His "pro gun control" mentality is also a big reason why he implemented stop and frisk - to get guns out of the hands of "criminals" before they commit crimes. Unfortunately, less than 1% of these stops resulted in gun confiscations and mostly dehumanizing black and brown people and even jailing them unduly sometimes :emma:

But we should overlook that because he had good intentions and he has allies who say nice things about him sometimes I guess :huntyga:

That's politics over and over. "Good intentions" that never work as well as advertised

I'm not directing this at the left or the right or any specific politician. I'm saying in general this tends to be the case over and over regardless of ideology

There's always pros and offsetting cons to every policy and politicians tend to focus ONLY on the arguments in favour of what they believe, ignore the valid arguments and factors against, and in the end things usually only work half as good as promised at best :emma:

I'm kinda intrigued about him. If he wins it pretty much proves that you can just buy a presidency in USA. The capitalist dream.

Less than 1% resulted in confiscations, but by what % the crime in New York has decreased?

How many black people the Bernie voted crime bill has affected? In comparision, how many black people went to jail for minor crimes because of a Bloomberg voted policy? So who is worst now? :ladyhaha:

How many female candidates Sanders helped in 2018 to win in red / mixed districts? How many were helped by Bloomberg? Who was the latest candidate to make mysoginistic comments against Warren? :huntyga:

As u can see, bloomberg can also win these types of battles.

Not really. Being a billionaire is not enough. The other billionaire in the race knows it better. But it helps to have the money.

You're never going to win these tit-for-tat comparisons when you refuse to understand how people can look at things with nuance and declare "these arent the same" factually. Some things have more weight, more impact, than other things, just flat out.

Bloomberg loses all of those battles for example. Bernie didn't say misogynistic things against Warren, EVEN if you believe he said he thought a woman can't win in 2020, that's not misogynistic and it is NOT on the same level as "Kill it" to a pregnant employee or 64 cases of sexual harassment suits, or a history of demeaning women, like... just stop :rip:

And Bloomberg is a big reason Kavanaugh is on the SC right now trying to overturn Roe v Wade because of his large donations to Republicans to beat Democrats in the Senate :laughga: 2018 was an election about anti trump +  healthcare, not centrism as an ideology. Bernie helped campaign for people where he was asked to do so because hes insanely popular amongst the Democratic electorate, even with the "moderate" base :emma:

The weight, the impact is decided by every person, not by you. It's ironic that you say "these arent the same", but still "bloomberg loses all the battles".:ladyhaha:

He clearly won some, if he got the Bernie, Biden supporters so upset.

Issue is this **** will make him even more popular.

Americans love this.

Watch him surprise everyone like Drumpf did in 2016; the more he says stupid and racist ****, the more he becomes popular.

mmm yes and no. Old people only vote for old people interests. If they used the internet and saw this they might not take too kindly to it lol

Sorry. It just blows my mind that there are people in our little community here who think that the best way for a democrat is going to win a general election against a republican is to nominate a republican. The people who think that makes sense should really ask themselves that if the only way for a republican to lose is to run up another republican that they should make start asking themselves why the democratic party: 1. exists 2. why is it that the democratic party is so weak against Trump (hint: it's because the party is corrupt) and 3. to suggest that bloomberg is somehow not worse than Trump. They're both part of the same club and were friends up until the time one decided to run for president. It's just ludicrous to me.

Those are the same people who call Trump supporters evil and racist for voting for him. They are literally voting for the same thing, but they justify it because its under the Democratic label. This is why most Democrats approve of crimes done by the American government if its labeled Democrat. All this outrage over Trump is all fake! It almost feel like a cult, they strongly identify as their political party and will do anything for it to win.
