Biden 19 + Bloomberg 18 = 37.

The moderates need to get their sh't together. It would have been something else to see Bernie win because of strong support, but at the moment he wins because there are too many moderates in the race.

I really hope you realize that you can't just add two different candidates' percentages together like this. Not only is that not how elections work, but it's not how voters vote to begin with. They don't vote based on strictly defined "moderate" or other ideological lanes. It's not based on ideology.

Many of Biden supporters, for instance, have Bernie as their second choice, and many Warren supporters have Pete as their second choice.

You have to take the numbers as they are. If Bloomberg wasn't in it, that support could go to Warren, Biden, and Bernie. Not all of it nor necessarily most of it would go to a moderate candidate.

I know that it isnt strictly that, but let's not act like Bernie is the second option for a lot of people.

You could see that in Iowa, where Pete and Warren attracted more votes than Bernie from the candidates who didnt get 15%.

The second choice of Warren and Biden supporters is Bernie. So I’m expecting that his lead will only increase as they falter off and capitulate in the race :vegas:

Also around 20% of Yang supporters are going to Bernie. Saw a Twitter poll somewhere but idk if it was accurate.

That makes sense. A lot of Yang’s supporters went to Bernie since he wasn’t viable in the first alignment of the Iowa caucus

Oh I'm thrilled. The primary is going very well for the democratic socialist. when will the others?

Remember when we were worried Warren and Sanders would split the progressive vote and give Biden the win? :bradley:

And look at us now :bradley:

I guess I was right about Bloomberg and Buttigieg being Biden killers :gayhat:

Warren did enough clowning to sink her own ship and now she's barely splitting the vote. She was doing great and then she did clownery after clownery and now it's come back to bite. :vegas:

I know :neyde:

I was 100% behind her and still would be, ngl. But those abysmal poll numbers make me believe she's no longer viable :smh:

And Bernie was my second choice so :gayhat:
