The $300M may be realistic, though it can be largely in Parker's companies stock and stock options. His other positions appear to be quasi part time jobs, including the Foundation and the Cancer Institute, which has nearly a hundred employees. This was from 2016 and ironically, the liquid biopsy technology being talked about has just made headlines this week (well, the science behind it has been proven to be sound by researchers). So, that's pretty cool that they were onto this 3 years ago. Michael's role appears to be convincing people to invest in these new technologies so that they can push them to market faster than if they relied on the traditional models of funding being used currently. They seem to be attempting to streamline the process and create opportunities for new technologies to be available at a low cost to patients and insurance companies. Its pretty remarkable stuff. Michael looks like he simply lost 20-30 pounds and got a haircut. He didn't have some teen romcom level makeover or anything like that. He sounds like a typical nerd. Love it!
