Mexico probably has the popularity + proximity to the USA, but I find Chile much more beautiful. Thailand is also the popular Southeast Asia destination, but I'd take Vietnam over Thailand any day. When I visit my family in law, I land in Nice but then I take a train to Italy, because they live in the city after the border, the last stop of the train.
