Neoliberal got elected by far-right party in Germany

Last year there were elections in the German state of Thuringia. The previous government had lost their majority because of that. But because no one else comes even close to reach a majority in the parliament they still wanted to govern the state.

Today was the election of the head of state and yet the biggest party, the Linke (leftist) lost in a third round against the candidate of the neoliberal FDP. The FDP candidate go elected with the help of the CDU (right) and the AfD (far-right and fascist). What's galling is that the FDP refused to work with the previous government and their very highly regarded leader yet had no problem being elected by a far-right, fascist and xenophobic party.

I dont know this specific dynamic, but yes, neoliberals will work with fascists and neocons in order to deny leftists victories... if more people realized this, they wouldn't support who they support now.

In America, the neoliberal side of the Democratic party is vehemently opposed to the progressive side, and working class people will never get a fair shot unless we take it on
