This is also most entries of 2020 so far. Which female artists have released anything so far this year or trailing off last year? It's like she specifically found a list to act like she has a point.

I agree, though.

It's not like female artists didn't dominate in the past twelve months. Billie Eilish, Lizzo and Taylor Swift alone were MASSIVE.

That's what made me realize her data was bogus. There were some major female names recently. It just seems like she's still mad she's not one of them.

yes and

A half of them are one-hit wonders  and they will never show up on charts after the end of 2020.

Did you think I'd show up in a limousine? No

Everyone is like well it's only February.

What's your point? This list is still disproportionate.

Kesha, Camila, Halsey, Selena have all released albums this year. That's enough for at least three more women other than Camila to have multiple chart entries this year on the Hot100.

You’re aware that not every female that puts out a single charts in the Hot 100 and that there are males too who put out songs that didn’t chart?

SORRY I hate to say it but Halsey and Kesha are both flops and I’m actually stanning Kesha and got nothing against Halsey.

This is true in a way. Male artists do get more exposure on Radio and streaming services. But then again, the year just started and not many female artist released anything. The only ones that comes to mind are Camila, Halsey, Selena, Dua and Kesha and they ain’t that big so.

So which songs from them should chart?

are you goddamn serious trying to shade her music and personality when none of the two have anything to do with the statement she made? "maybe if you recorded better songs", "you're irrelevant" :saladga:

MAYBE she doesn't wanna see herself in the list? MAYBE she's just fighting for gender equality? I keep up with music trends and I haven't heard even one recent song by any of the male artists dominating the list, so it makes sense it's weird

and p.s. she's always been very motivated female-empowerment-wise - just see the Women In Harmony dinner she's been doing for a few years in a row now :ohwell:

Does she writes her music?

yes, she was a songwriter for Nick Jonas, Selena Gomez, Tinashe, Iggy Azalea, etc. before she became a singer + she wrote the chorus of The Monster by Eminem and Rihanna :vegas:
