Well I wasn’t really shading him - just GGD.

I’m sure he works hard - but idea that making a ton of money and graduating the Ivy League automatically makes him husband material is sketch to me. 
 

So from me this is more a social commentary on GGD’s reactions than LG and Michael.

It actually has everything to do with it, along with growth hormone, released by both the mother in utero during fetal development and also during puberty. After puberty, supplementing with testosterone doesn't do a thing. There is nothing one can do externally to affect it, but it is 100% a hormone fueled type of development.

Here's the thing. It's not that he went to Harvard (which is either very impressive or not at all, depending on a few factors). It's not about the fact that he has money. 

You have to look deeper here. Someone with his resume AT 36 YEARS OLD points to a very intelligent, driven, motivated person. The fact that he can essentially run/lead/manage so many varied ventures and is still relatively unknown is admirable. He's not out there pimping himself like Mark Z. He's not running a hedge fund in it for the money, partying on yachts, etc. He is focusing on charitable ventures. He is clearly someone who knows how to get things done. 

Now compare that to Dan the sound guy or Carino the celebrity pimp and, well, it's easy to be impressed with Michael. He is the kind of guy you are proud to bring home to your parents.
