why did they even bother attending then? I understand making a political statement but what irks me isn't the reason why they're doing this but the fact that whilst they have a HUGE influence; why not help the inner cities? Why not help Flint with their water? We see Akon funding his own money to bring electricity in different areas in Africa.

I mean... I DO feel it's a real disrespect to the anthem to not stand up because blacks played a huge part in keeping our freedoms spite their suffering. Is this not a good reason to stand if not for the majority but for those who gave up their lives? 

I mean I remember watching the breakfast club and this was after the Neverland documentary; Charlamagne asked the guest "how can you listen to MJ after what's been revealed" and he responds with "the same way I can stand for the national anthem" keeping in mind the guest was black himself. I believe in what they stand for but I believe MORE in unity not diversity.

That happens at every sports event I go to. People are usually in line buying snacks or beer or even using the bathroom.

I feel like if it was really a form of protest she wouldn't be singing along and they would have explained what they are protesting for, maybe their backs were hurting or whatever idk

If you want to protest what you feel is injustice, you can't turn up to the event at all. Going because you got tickets for free or are an NFL shareholder shouldn't matter. You can't half boycott something. I'm tired of celebrities acting like they hate America despite the fact that America made them filthy rich, they buy loads of American products and show up to every American event going.
