It's funny how all these "twitter users" don't post anything verifiable. Meanwhile entry polls in Iowa have three important notes.

1. Iowa had a huge dip in first time voters.

35% this year vs 45% last year. Is Bernie really motivating new voters like he used to?

2. Older voters vs Younger voters in Iowa.

55% were over 45.

45% were under 45.

3.

45 and older polled

25% Biden

24% Buttigieg

19% Klobuchar

17% Warren

Bernie was in single digits.

Younger than 45 polled

41% Bernie Sanders

21% Buttigieg

18% Warren

10% Yang

Biden in single digits.

Basically the only candidate with mass appeal is Buttigieg and Warren.

Bernie won't win us a presidential election. He is dead to 45 and over in middle America.

Biden won't win a presidential election either the young WON'T vote for him.

Biden should bow out fast before it gets embarrassing. Bernie still has time to turn things around for the old.

Did you really just ask if Bernie excited his new voters like he used to?

You sound like Chris Matthews drunk on MSNBC saying that Bernie Sanders won't become the president, and then says he's going to win big in Iowa.

Watch for yourself:

Complete fuc-king JOKE.

I'm posting poll numbers. I don't care what Chris has to say.  Also I didn't say Bernie was over. I said at this point if he doesn't work on older voters  and new voters we won't win the election if he won the primary and the presidential vote is tommorow. However because he has such big support from 45 and younger he still has time to work on the older Democratic voter. Biden doesn't have a huge number on older voters being essentially tied with Buttigieg and he won't get the number ever for younger voters. Also this is middle America Biden will not win in liberal states. Bernie will do very strong in liberal states that is also why Bernie is still a strong candidate. But who knew that Buttigieg would perform so strongly.

The three that need to continue are

1 Bernie

2 Warren

3 Buttigieg

Are you posting poll numbers to the 91% white Iowa but ignoring the dozens of polls that have him beating Trump among Independents. Independents were a large part of Trump’s victory in 2016 since Hillary failed to appeal to them.

Not to mention if you do look at Iowa numbers, Bernie took the non-white vote by a massive margin.

Impeachment coverage on top of the messiness of this means every candidate will be able to spin their loss however they want.

"Trump Acquitted" possibly today could completely overtake this hot mess.

It's too perfect for the moderates :deadbanana:

For moderates? No. At best, it is good for Biden. Pete would have loved to be announced as the best moderate candidate, even if Bernie is no 1.

It's true. I agree with that. I still think Bernie needs to work on the older vote more. But by no means do I think Bernie should drop out at this point. I think Biden needs to go tho.

He could claim a victory, even if he didnt win, thats true. And he is still likely to win NH and possibly NV (though it is also a caucus :rip: )

But I worry that the chances of a brokered convention with superdelegates giving this to Bloomberg or Joe is increasingly likely now that he wasnt able to have a solid uncontested victory that could propel him all the way through SC with the most delegates anymore going into super tuesday, which lessens his chance of winning outright in the first delegate count.

Let's be honest. For the moment, this is a race on who is going to be the progressive candidate and who will be the moderate one. Only after 2 people remain in the race, the fight will start.

Independents means democrat leaning independents, while ignoring republican leaning independents? :huntyga:

I don’t know about Buttigieg. Aside from this supposed mess with the app, there’s something about him that just strikes me as very untrustworthy.

There is a paper trail. So we'll see. Bernie and his super pac is trust worthy? Ok I guess.
