Since you want to try and revise what actually happened.

1. Bernie and Pete released their own internal figures.

2. Bernie released his and said he felt like he would be doing pretty good by the time the final results came out.

3. Pete released his internal results and said he won outright.

If you can't see the nuance, I don't know what to tell you. I say this to you very often but you have a very narrow view of everything, refuse to see anything from a broader lens and almost everything you say is either false, misleading or worded specifically to get attacked constantly by people who support Bernie. I honestly don't know where we go from here because nothing that is said to you sinks in to where you accept any other truth other than your own.

Funny how you go after me and then u make a false claim. He said he won? No, he said he is "victorious". And I'm the one who can't see the nuance? :sure:

Your opinions about me have zero value. The funny thing is that I have mostly the same opinions about u, but I actually understand that it brings zero value to this topic to share opinions on other members. Maybe u can learn that yourself. :trollga:

I'm not going after you. I don't go into this thread looking for your replies so I have a reason to attack you, but I wind up seeing one thing after another where you make false statements or misconstrue something and I try to correct you. Simple as that. You are the one who takes it personally.

vic·to·ri·ous

adjective

having won a victory; triumphant.

Pete said "we" as in his campaign is going onto New Hampshire, "victorious." You can spin it anyway you want, but he said he won.

And Bernie said he won because he has more votes, which we know that's not how Iowa caucus works. You can have less votes and still get more delegates.

So he was wrong too, but u wont go after Bernie the same way you do with Pete. You actually agree with him.:saladga:

and I am the one accused of false statements and lack of nuance. I dont want your nuance, if it means that I need to be so biased.

I see them both as politicians trying to spin it in their favor to get momentum and I'm not holding it against any of them and I expect people to either be upset with both or give them a pass.

And what I told you earlier is that the number of votes that are left to be tallied are less than the number of votes that Bernie is leading by. Therefore, he can safely say that he won the popular vote.

BTW: If you go to the rules section and if you click on the  Iowa Democratic Party Delegate Selection Plan link, it will bring you to the rules of the satellite caucus as well as other rules.

FIG. 4: In-Person Satellite Caucus Example (p. 8 of DSP)

 • Congressional District 4 is allocated 400 district/state delegates from the in-person caucuses

• 4 Satellite Caucus Sites have been approved in CD 4

• Total turnout for all satellite caucuses was 214 people

• Because total turnout was between 1-600, the congressional district will be given an additional 1% allocation, in this case 4 delegates. (.01 x 400 = 4)

• The total CD 4 convention will now be 404 people

Details on the determination of SDE's for each satellite caucus district (1 for each congressional district of the state; total of 4 districts in Iowa).

The results of the in-state satellite caucuses will be used to determine an apportionment of delegates to the district and state conventions. The number of delegates apportioned to the satellite caucus county will be determined based on overall satellite caucus attendance in each congressional district and will be given as an additional allocation of district/state delegates within that district. Fig. 4 on page 68 provides an example.

a) If overall satellite caucus attendance in a congressional district is between 1-600, the congressional district will be given an additional 1% allocation.

b) If overall satellite caucus attendance in a congressional district is between 601-1200, the congressional district will be given an additional 2% allocation.

c) If overall satellite caucus attendance in a congressional district is between 1201-1800, the congressional district will be given an additional 3% allocation.

I think we should just ignore that one user. We've not once heard them express which candidate they prefer to win. Their whole mission this election is solely just to tear down Bernie. Funny how most of these anti-Bernie users never make a case for their preferred candidate, if they even have one at all.

Spoiler from Birds of Prey

Harley Quinn : " I voted for Bernie."

Sorry for the off topic. I knew you would like it. :huntyga:
