Pop Music 20,540
not at all she tries so hard to perform for us (and with the fibro it can't be at all easy to get on stage night after night when enigma is running) I wish people would ease up on her because she is truly trying to do her best to make things fun and energetic but it just seems fans aren't having it and it could drive a wedge between us and her (even more than some say already is there) Pop Music and Lady Gaga forever! joannesrats 26
I think a lot of the critiques are warranted, such as the production value or the idea that she thinks she has to perform in this manner. However, I think it's tired. We all know what we think of it, we can just stop talking about it unless something changes.

I think even the most avid Enigma haters can agree that she delivers what she's supposed to. A lot of us have a problem with the show, and I think we're right to express it as long as it's not downright disrespectful (which it often is and there's no excuse for that). Imo the concept & execution is lazy and reductive in many departments. I don't think you could even call it camp, since she's proven to have deep understanding of the term. This is just superficial and cheap. It's cute, but unimaginative and sub-par.

This the critiques are 100 % warranted but at the same time we or I completely understand and sympathize her energy level, the wacky modified choreograph to hide her lack of stamina. ****’s hard when u’re dealing with chronic pain. ( I still think the over fidgeting and pseudo badass act is abit much - n it’ll work so much better n cooler if she’s gone full rock concert) This is similar to what happened to Britney fans during the post black outs comeback where they get so overprotected and in denial of Britney lack of everything ( dancing skill, charisma, confidence) like honey we have eyes. Doncho 27,241
The Enigma hate is disgusting. Imagine being THAT pressed about a damn wig. Kinda ironic and sad how Gaga keeps talking about kindness when most of her fans are bullies Not to mention 99% of the people who hate Enigma, never saw it live, but just in videos
Magui 2,628
I don't feel sad. It's just tiring and a put off. I already know that some people don't like Enigma , never even liked in first place since it started. So i was already expecting some criticism. Although i must say that some people really exaggerate. Anyways i enjoy what i enjoy and don't give a damn about if others say it's horrible, lazy, whatever. I can pay attention when people discuss things without treating the show like trash and stuff like that, otherwise i ignore.
Adakam 2
Like every issue in this forum, the problem isnt what you say, but how you say it. Her performance is great, the outfits are great. My complaint is that all her tours were better, more creative, better stages, better props, better stories, the "tell me to go **** myself" part is pretty lame. And as a 1 venue show, I expected it to be the other way around, with everything bigger and better than in her tours, but nope, it feels like a side show, kinda like the ARTPOP itunes festival. But that doesnt mean ill attack her personally or that I dont understand her health situation.
elijahfan 26,373
The only reason it's getting so much hate is because it's a Vegas residency. It's a great show with amazing visuals - too bad they skipped the best and most impressive part yesterday.
lgsbchac 273
Nah because it's really just tired at this point. Like we get, some of y'all hate the show, some love it. It's the same **** over and over again and it's been going on for a whole year. I don't know why it needs to be discussed over and over again. It's entirely subjective anyway. Like yeah everyone is free to express their opinion but do it once and be good with it. If you don't like it, don't go see it or don't watch the livestream. If you do like it and can afford to go, go. If can't, be happy that you got nice stream now. Simple as that. Overall, though, I do think the spreading positivity/focusing on the positive falls a little short on this site sometimes. Doesn't all the negative energy wear y'all out? Because it certainly does me.

Daylight Jokers 14,958
No. There's lot of people here (including me) who defend Enigma. I watched the livestream as a fan and not a critic that's why I enjoyed it. At the end of the day, we had fun and the haters just stressed themselves out for nitpicking every single move Gaga does.
