I said there was no belly dancing, and the little belly dancing we got was not done right.Ā There was something wrong with her dancing maybe she was in pain? I also said her whole set was random performances that look exactly the same. She could easily have done something amazing with Hips Dont Lie and Whenever like we usually get from Shakira. Chantaje Remix ruined the song and performance and where is La Tortura?

Mister G 9,542
That halftime show should have been like 25 minutes. Felt rushed. And they nailed that choreography.

JusKeepBreathin 19,311
Reviews are coming in https://www.usatoday.com/story/entertainment/music/2020/02/02/super-bowl-halftime-show-2020-jennifer-lopez-and-shakira-dazzle-one-best-super-bowl-halftime-shows-m/4642154002/ Adam who? After last yearās dreadfullyĀ forgettable Super Bowl Halftime Show by Maroon 5Ā and a shirtless Adam Levine, just about any artist wouldāve been a vast improvement for this yearās performance in Miami, where the San Francisco 49ers faced off against the Kansas City Chiefs But who couldāve guessed just how infectiously joyous the combo ofĀ Jennifer Lopez and ShakiraĀ would be, smiling and dancing their way through an energetic set that was short on over-the-top spectacle ā there were no giant tiger puppets or high-flying entrances ā Ā but abundant in jaw-dropping choreography, Top 40 hits and celebrations of Latin culture. The performance kicked off with Shakira, who took the stage in a glittery, fringed red dress and delightfully showed what a Renaissance woman she is: playing electric guitar during āEmpireā and provocatively dancing with a rope when she wasnāt fiercely working her way through playfully sexy pop anthems āHips Donāt Lie,ā āWhenever, Whereverā and the (hugely underrated) āShe Wolf.ā Ā She then ceded the stage to Lopez, who descended on Hard Rock Stadium in a revealing, black-leather bodysuit, where she was flanked by backup dancers in colorful tutus for early hits āJenny From the Blockā and āGet Right.ā Further reminding Oscar voters what a mistake they made in not nominating her for last yearās stripper drama āHustlers,ā Lopez brought out a stripper pole and did a breathtaking routine in a diamond-studded ensemble as she sang a slowed-down version of āWaiting for Tonight.ā But the highlight of the halftime show was when Lopez was joined by a childrenās choir and her 11-year-old daughter, EmmeĀ Maribel MuƱiz, who sweetly sang Bruce Springsteenās āBorn in the USAā as Lopez returned to the stage draped in a feathery, Puerto Rican flag. It was an unsubtle political statement on one of the worldās biggest stages. (The article forgot to mention the children in cages and the female symbol on the all floor during the all female children's choir part.) Lopez, 50, and Shakira, 43, further brought Latino representation to the show by inviting Bad Bunny and J Balvin, who performed their Spanish-language verses of Cardi Bās āI Like Itā and āMi Gente,ā respectively. The women wrapped the performance by dancing and embracing each other, capping one of the best Super Bowl halftimes of the past decade. Shakira was actually the first singer i got interested in in my life, when i was 4 or 5. my present self is not that familiar with her music but seeing her still there still doing it while many others from my childhood faded into obscurity feels nice ^^ Same. She's my original fave. I love her and for that same reason I am so disappointed, the choices she made were not what I was expecting at all. She did Hips Don't Lie and Whenever, Wherever wrong just to give time to flop Empire and ****ing Bad Bunny. We have two selves. One the world needs us to be, compliant, and the shadow. Ignore it and life is forever suffering.
