Of course she did lmao. Gaga's sampled Ma Baker by Boney M in Poker Face, We Will Rock You by Queen in You and I, Rocket #9 by Zombie Zombie in Venus. The list goes on. She's never to this day not credited a sample she used, why would she start now?

I’m gonna throw shade and just say the cd booklet has all the credits. Reading is fundamental lol

I’m surprised so few know of these samples

Venus sampled Zombie Zombie sampling Sun Ra. Our queen is no stranger to the sample. The difference is that she typically makes something totally different out of it.

Pissed off memories throwback!

On facebook, zombie was all like did gaga copy us??? Did she steal our track???

And of course it fueled the flames of “gaga copies bs”

Venus debut day was stressful.

Uhhh Mary Jane Holland, Aura,  Venus... i think theres a few others.

She sampled in MJH and Aura?

Aren't you thinking of her using premade instrumentals? a sample is reusing a small portion of a song like sound effects or patterns like in Judas. Her using existing instrumentals isn't sampling

I swear I heard an edm song once with the oinks from Swine. I don’t know the name of said song or when it was released. But I know for sure that I heard it sometime after 2013 lol

I doubt they sampled this song. The clip is probably from a sample pack on Splice or something.

I didn't actually know there were oinks in Swine haha but very likely they could have used a sample pack. Often drums and sound effects come from packs since they are usually secondary elements to a song

Released 2018. Which means this wasn’t an old demo that got reworked

looooooool I love that they had the gall to think she copied them when their sample is just a fairly generic spooky voice recording of the Sun Ra song hahaha That would be the most ridiculous "copying" anyway. I'd clap for Gaga having the balls to copy so blatantly had that been the case. No attempt to even hide it :trollga:

probably taken from a soundpack and both people used it

THIS.

Why don't people get this?!

Y'all think people don't use sample packs?

Y'all think people go out and record every single drum they use, or percussion, or foliage? Not using a single preset?
