Well PI was before her repeak. It was a harder sell, and it wasn’t radio friendly. SL is prob Gagz most anticipated song ever.

Born This Way and Applause say hi.

Hated PI at first listen and still hate it now :fan:

It was grating, screamy, and very out of touch with the current musical landscape of mid tempo, soft spoken Chainsmoker’d songs.

Stupid Love has a modern dance break similar to Dont Start Now and Higher Love.

Yes Arturo queen of the charts threads let the lessors know honey, let them know!

They were both released during the early phase of the anti-Gaga backlash, where she was overexposed and downright hated (because they misunderstood her) as much as loved.

In 2020 everyone recognises her talent and artistry. She’s not the attention-seeking plastic phoney they once saw her as, though she is still an Enigma.

No sorry, Born This Way was her most anticipated. When she sung the chorus at the VMAs, then dropped the release date on New Year’s Eve with the lyrics, everyone went nuts. Even the GP were ridiculously excited, Ellen had a whole section in her show where her guests (James blunt and Justin beiber) both sung the lyrics to guess the melody. There were videos all over YouTube of people singing the lyrics before the song came out. Then the song came out and broke the iTunes world record, was #1 for 6 weeks and #7 here in the UK with only two days of sales. THAT was the most anticipated “comeback” song until Adele with Hello.

Yup. He’s the one who said he heard the lead a few days before all the leaks started. Not to mention all his correct info on other artists.

PrinceGaga

To be considered a reliable insider on the biggest pop culture forum, coming out with a release date for Gaga is a massive call. It could cost them their integrity. I’m sure they wouldn’t have said the date unless they were very sure.

Mr S almost got cancelled when he said that Gaga must have changed her mind after the first time he said a date.

That’s what I meant, BTW was not her comeback single, she released it during the height of her fame. It was the start of the backlash against her.

SL on the other hand, has very high anticipation fresh from her Oscar win and stunning debut as a Hollywood leading lady but no backlash or negativity about her because people now know what kind of an artist she is.

2011: BTW / Peak of her fame / Start of backlash

2013: Delays for LG4 / Backlash intensifies

2014-2016: Peak of Backlash / Everyone forgets or hates Gaga

2017: Super Bowl & Coachella / New Lady Gaga

Late 2018: Comeback with ASIB

2019: Repeak / We Love Her Again

2020: LG6
