Meh. ARTPOPs failures was her bottom that forced her to reinvent herself in a way that forced ppl to see her talent and earned her respect

 

Had that been a different era with slightly more success she likely may not have gone the route she went and maybe fizzled out gradually over time without that bounce back she did

 

Things were well for her in the long term to happen the way did even if at the time the long term benefits of a messy era were not obvious

The timeline won't work. We won't have the Sound of Music, Million Reasons, the Superbowl, A Star is Born and most importantly, she won't win that Oscar she wished for years. If ARTPOP didn't exist, would we see Gaga happier than she is now?

Since everything happens for a reason. If Gaga never recorded and released ARTPOP then:

in order:

1.) She might not feel as depressed

2.) There will be no Cheek To Cheek

3.) She might not find another venture as result of depression with music industry

4.) She might never performed tribute to Sound of Music at Oscars

5.) She might not acting and singing in ASIB

6.) She might not won an Oscar
