Of course it would be impossible to break a record from 2010 when digital and physical sales were hundreds of percent more valuable than what they are today, while streaming and YouTube barely existed. TimisaMonster 31,073 Posted January 27, 2020 Share Posted January 27, 2020 Billie may be more popular as are most new artists in the beginning of their careers, but Billie doesn't even have the same look, sound, or concepts as Gaga...they are 2 completely different artists, so I don't see what all the fuss is about. If anything, Interscope is happy to have another major artist on their label. In due time, I'm sure Gaga is gonna have big budget videos and promo again like the old days...I just hope she actually sticks with it this time. But I get what you mean.
