It's the Grammys, not the AMAs. Ed Sheeran and plenty of others have won and didn't attend. If she's not getting that SOTY it's because ARUTW doesn't stand a chance in the category (although it does deserve). There's a lot of controversy around this year's ceremony, so her not attending was either because of that, because she was busy or simply didn't want to go.
