Divide the number of people reported dead by the number of reported cases and you have the mortality rate. If it is under-reported the mortality rate is likely even less. I know for sure cos my Dad were with The Navy. And if you gonna say you are that important to be able to obtain that kind of information, you wouldn't likely spend time in Gaga fansite, fam. Same thing happened with the Ebola outbreak in 2016 (I found articles to the same effect 4 years to the date). One case was supposedly reported in a US airport and everyone freaked out. It's heartbreaking for those who have lost loved ones, and I don't deny that it's a serious illness, but also look at the stats for the annual influenza fatalities. I don't work FOR the Government. But certainly we are given all of the information available, which everyone else has access to as well. I'm a diagnosed hypochondriac and every time this kind of plagues appears I get hard panic attacks.
