I can kind of see where they're coming from. Gaga has so much vocal talent, something Madonna and Taylor share a lack of. They're both amazing businesswomen, know how to get what they want, full realized eras (consistently), so much discussion on them, etc. No one can recreate the controversy or public change Madonna did, because it already happened.
