I don’t mind the lyrics but I’d make them a bit more playful and poetic and obscure like some of her other songs. It’s a weird song in some parts, but I love that. MelbHawker 6,209 Posted January 25, 2020 Share Posted January 25, 2020 I've only heard the song a few times because it doesn't have much in it to pull me back to it apart from the 'Freak Out' / 'Look At Me' parts (I think they're amazing/euphoric). The verses are cute. The 'chorus' is non-existent. It's basically a dance break that lasts a few seconds - uninspiring. Like sis you have a VOICE and have written some of the best choruses in Pop History and you've given in to that awful, awful trend of sacrificing it for music (that honestly could've been in the song WITH a chorus). I dunno... I kinda hope that it isn't the final version (but for her to address it confirms it is!). It's a fun song aside of my criticisms lol, I hope the GP eats it up.
