His estimated net worth is $40 million. And before you say "okay well fine then he's a millionaire," keep in mind Bernie Sanders is also a multi-millionaire from his real estate investments and book sales. And, also, there's nothing wrong with being wealthy for either of them. It's impossible to have good political discussions on this website, I swear. PoshLife 17,019 Posted January 23, 2020 Share Posted January 23, 2020 Last night I was at dinner with about 10 other people, including moderate Democrats and moderate Republicans (as well as a few far-right conservatives; no socialists were present). Naturally the conversation turned to politics at some point. The consensus - not just majority opinion, consensus - was that they'd feel comfortable voting for Biden and maaaybe Klobuchar, but their strong preference is actually Bloomberg. Someone with business acumen, a strong personality, and a lot of experience without Biden's advanced age. These are people who hate Trump and want pretty much any reason to vote against him - but the economy is doing well and they just don't agree that our entire economy, government, and way of life need to be flipped on their head like Sanders wants to. Maybe because they're all adults with jobs... We need to put forward a moderate Democratic alternative to Trump or Trump will win with very little trouble.
